Vata Pacifying Berry-Chia Seed Jam

  • 2 cups Berries (cherries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc)

  • 1/2 cup filtered Water

  • Juice of 1 Orange

  • 1 tsp Raw Honey

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 2-4 strips Orange peel

  • 3 tbsp Chia Seeds


  1. In a small pot, bring water and berries to a boil and allow liquid to reduce.

  2. Add orange juice, honey, salt, orange peel, and chia seeds. Reduce heat to a low simmer.

  3. Cover and allow to cook for 10-15 minutes, or until thick and “jam like” consistency.

  4. Serve over coconut yogurt or oatmeal. Enjoy!

*For the orange peel, use a vegetable peeler to remove 2-4 strips of peel and add to the pot to enhance the zestiness of the jam.
