It is a fact that balance begins to decline as we age. However, as a seasoned teacher, I see just as many younger students struggle with balance in their practice as I do older ones. This 90 minute workshop will focus on how integral balance (on one and two legs!) is to our overall yoga practice. With anything we want to improve, we must practice, even if it’s not as exciting as standing on two hands! We will explore the main principles of balance and proprioception and then put them into practice in both static postures and transitions, learning how to move with grace, strength and ease.
