Trauma Sensitive Yoga is a modality for healing from any form of trauma. Trauma Sensitive Yoga a conduit to release from trauma energy and encouraged to be used in conjunction with talk therapy. The class provides a safe, calm space for connecting with your body. Mindfulness, somatic work and sensory integration are incorporated in to this class, along with a variety of yoga movement. Open to yoga teachers, therapists, mental health advocates, and curious individuals.
16 in-studio lecture hours
10 TSY practice hours in studio/virtual-log hours
5 hour practicum- teach 5 (1hr) TSY classes w/ same individual, provide class outline and complete feedback form for each class
4hrs of reading/individual study
