Limit Or Avoid:
Salt
Sour Foods
Citrus Fruits
Hot Spices (cayenne, garlic, dry ginger, mustard seed, and hing)
Breads containing yeast
Fermented foods
Caffeine, Alcohol (liquor), Yerba Mate
Hot Peppers, Tomatoes, Raw Onions
Brown Rice, Rye, Corn, Millet
Sour Cream, Buttermilk, Salted Dairy Products
Red Meat
All Nuts (except peeled almonds)
Enjoy:
6 – 8 glasses of cool/room temperature water per day
Sweet Fruit (Apples, Berries)
Food that is sweet, bitter, and/or astringent
Cucumbers, Spinach, Celery, Zucchini
Wild, White, or Basmati Rice
Ghee, Cow’s Milk, Goat’s Milk, Unsalted Butter, Unsalted Cheese
White Meat: Chicken, Turkey
Freshwater Fish
Egg Whites
Cilantro, Fennel, Fresh Ginger
Soaked & Peeled Almonds
Beer and/or Dry White Wine (In moderation)
Warm/Room Temp Tea: Chamomile, Dandelion, Fennel, Licorice, and Mint Teas are best! (If you MUST drink coffee, add cardamom to support digestion and bring a sweet quality to it)
